The choice is yours !
With a new festival site comes change – for 2022, this means a variety of accommodation options to consider: convenient onsite tent camping & vehicle assisted tent camping, more remote, rustic tent camping options, limited space for parking lot RV camping, nearby tent & RV camp sites, hotels & motels in Drayton Valley, and even goats & floats up river ! Attendees may choose to purchase festival passes With Camping or Without Camping.
Option A – Tent Camping, Vehicle Assisted Camping, & RVs
The main parking area provides easy access to numerous grassy camping meadows, including east of Nordic Centre main stage area, south of Nordic Centre towards Chalet and river, and west of Nordic Centre (quieter, with a path to river and rock quarry lake). Fires are limited to the provided fire rings. There will be some sherpas and carts available to help move your gear at designated times (4 to 7 pm on Friday, 12 noon to 2 pm on Saturday, and 4 to 7 pm on Sunday).
There will be some vehicle assisted tent camping available to those with vans, station wagons, and small to medium sized cars. And there will also be room for a number of RVs in the parking lot. Please write to info@sasquatchgathering.com to inquire about reserving a spot.
Option B – Into the Woods
Eagle Point Provincial Park has some amazing camp sites within the forested areas – many with beautiful views of the North Saskatchewan River. For those who choose to camp onsite, there will be some carts to help you move your gear from the parking lot to your site and back again. These sites may be reserved on a first come, first served basis.
Option C – Pihtokwe Campsite
Located just 10 minutes drive down the road, Pihtokwe Campsite offers sites for $25 / night, $35 / night with power, and $45 / night for fully serviced RV sites.
Option D – Hotels & Motels in Drayton Valley
Drayton Valley offers an array of hotel & motel options. Once a host hotel for performers has been confirmed, it will be announced here.
Option E – Elevated Experience Camp or Cabin
And for something completely different, why not consider a couple of nights at Elevated Experience Camping at Willey West Campground (approx. 20 minutes drive from festival site). Glamping sites, cabins, goat yoga ! Need we say more ?
